Madrichim

Our Madrichim (teacher assistant, leader, or guide) program is a teen leadership program. The Madrichim program starts in 9th grade. Madrichim hold a number of different leadership roles in our JLC, such as assisting teachers in classrooms and tutoring the younger students during JLC. However, most importantly, they are role models for our youth.

Teen Tracks

Temple Beth Am’s Teen Tracks Program offers after school, weekend and special interest programs for teens in our community. TBA Teens are empowered to grow intellectually, socially, creatively and emotionally.

Moving Traditions

Moving Traditions groups promote self-discovery, challenge traditional gender roles, and celebrate a diversity of voices, it has the power to move our teens, our communities, and Judaism forward. Through the field-tested programs, Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Achim, offer groups for boys and girls in 8th-12th grade a unique cohort experience that inspire Jewish teens to openly explore fundamental questions of identity and society throughout their teen years.

Teen Beit Midrash

Are you a teen who likes hanging out with friends, davening with spirit, playing games and eating delicious food?! If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should come to Beth Am’s Teen Shabbat! Teen Shabbat is open to any teen in 6th-12th grade. So bring a friend!

Torah Club

For over 10 years, Torah Club provides 6th – 12th graders with the opportunity to build on their trope and davening skills.  With designated Torah Club Shabbatot throughout the year, Torah Club members serve the community by reading Torah (and frequently haftarah) and leading services.  Aliyot are assigned in advance of a Torah Club Shabbat, and members receive 1-on-1 support to help them prepare. Contact Nina Golden for more info.
