Shani Fisher

Shani and her husband, Seth, have called Pressman Academy and Temple Beth Am home since relocating to Los Angeles from New York in 2011. Their two sons, Jules, a Pressman Academy graduate (Class of 2025), and Lincoln, a rising Pressman Academy eighth grader, have been raised at Temple Beth Am and Pressman Academy, which have become central to their family’s life and community. As the proud daughter of two lifelong educators, Shani recognized early in her sons’ lives the fulfillment she would find in advancing Pressman’s mission through a range of meaningful leadership roles. Her journey as a lay leader began with the Pressman Budget and Finance Committee, where she later served as Chair. She then served on two Steering Committees for Pressman Academy’s Strategic Plan, co-chairing the latter, and has been a steadfast member of the Education Cabinet for the past seven years. Professionally, Shani has spent her legal career focused on aviation finance and currently serves as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel of Breeze Airways. Her family couldn’t be more proud of all that she has done for the institution.
