Join us this summer as Temple Beth Am and Good Shepherd Catholic Church come together for a warm, hands-on Interfaith Challah Bake. We’ll host the event at Temple Beth Am, welcoming congregants from both communities to share our customs in the spirit of joint social action.
Each congregant or family/group will bake two challahs—one to enjoy at home and one to be delivered through Good Shepherd’s “Feed My Poor” (http://www.feedmypoor.com/) program to someone experiencing homelessness.
Clergy from both communities will be present to speak about the sacred role of bread in both traditions, as we deepen our understanding of one another and build friendships across faiths. Space is limited, RSVP here!
