June 8 – For nearly 50 years, the Downtown Women’s Center (DWC) has led women and survivor-centered housing solutions in Los Angeles, shaping how the region understands and responds to homelessness. DWC’s housing retention rate — among the highest in the nation at 98% — reflects the strength of an approach grounded in trust, safety, community, and individualized support. In today’s Coffee & Conversation session, DWC’s Community Relations Manager, Lindsey Gartner, will be sharing how DWC ends homelessness through housing and supportive services centered on wellness, employment, and advocacy.
