Heavily inspired by the story of Gilad Shalit, LISTEN is a gripping fictional portrayal of the IDF’s internal struggle over hostage negotiations. The film follows Dara Nevo, a young soldier in Israel’s elite intelligence unit, as she races against time to rescue a captured Israeli being held deep in Gaza.
A former Israeli Navy SEAL, author of the novel Silent Waters, and co-founder of Big Swell Entertainment, Omri Bezalel is based in Los Angeles. He will join us after the screening for a live Q&A moderated by Michael Berlin.
