This year, we are shifting the programming we provide to school aged kids in 2nd grade & up. Kids will be with counselors for the vast majority of the weekend to create more of a ‘camp’ experience for them. We are excited to experiment with this new model for our Shabbaton!
Thanks to the renewal of a generous grant and additional funding, though there are increased expenses due to Ramah’s rates and the more robust children’s programming we’re offering, prices have only moderately increased this year.
All families will be notified by Sunday, 1/26, if they are being invited to register for the Shabbaton or being placed on a waiting list.
Shabbaton pricing:
Adult-Double Occupancy $400 (per adult)
Adult- Single Occupancy $425
Adult Upgraded Double Occupancy $475 (per adult)*
*Note: This option is only available to parents without children sleeping in their room
Children 2+ in Parent’s Room $300 (per child)
Children 2nd-8th Grade in Bunk $375 (per child)
Children under 2 – FREE
Items of Note:
This is a weekend retreat. There will be no entry to or exit from camp during Shabbat.
• All children attending the Shabbaton MUST have at least one legal guardian in attendance with them. We are not able to accommodate families bringing up children who do not live with them.
• During evening hours, staff will serve as “shmira” (supervision) so that adults do not have to stay in their room with their sleeping children during adult programming.
• Childcare in the Gan is provided for children aged 2-TK/Gesher. Children’s programming is for children K-5th grade, with teen programming for 6th-9th grade.
• Children in 2nd grade & up are required to remain with their counselors in programming outside of designated family time and some meals.
• Teens in 10th grade & and up may apply to be a counselor; click here to apply.
• If cost is the primary barrier for your family’s participation, additional need-based financial assistance is available by application. Payment plans are also available upon registration.
