This year, a significant portion of the funds collected will be donated to support Israel relief along with TBA’s own helping hand fund, focusing on the Purim mitzvah of Matanot L’evyonim.
The four mitzvot performed on Purim are:
Giving matanot l’evyonim: giving to at least two people in need;
Listening to Megillat Esther, the reading of the Purim story;
Eating a seudah, a festive holiday meal; and
Sending mishloah manot, gifts of at least two different foods, to friends & family
You can easily place your orders at www.HappyPurim.com (you should have received an email with your login code). If you’ve participated before you will be able to see who you sent to and who sent to you in the past! Stressed out by trying to decide who you should include this year? Send to the entire list for $436. This is the most cost-effective way to ensure no one is forgotten.
Ready to participate? Here’s what to do:
1. Visit www.HappyPurim.com and enter your login code and the first three letters of your last name as instructed and click “Login.” A detailed list of pricing and instructions will show up once you have logged in.
2. Click “Continue” to verify and/or modify your personal information. Click “Save & Continue” at the bottom of that page to proceed to the order page.
3. When you are finished making your selections, click the “Order” button to proceed to the Checkout page.
4. Please review your order carefully on the Checkout Page before submitting your payment info. Orders cannot be changed once paid for! (You CAN place a 2nd order, however.)
Please note: Your own name will not appear on your list when you log on to your account.
Worried that you may forget to send to someone who may send to you? You also have the opportunity to reciprocate.
If you select this option at the top of the “My Mishloah Manot” page, anyone selecting your name, whom you did not check on your list, will be added to your order at an additional charge of $4.00 each. You will receive a second charge on your credit card when this is calculated after the deadline. We will send you an email receipt for this charge.
