This isn’t just a part-time job.
This is leadership. Community. Impact. Connection. Growth.
The Madrichim Program at JLC is designed for teens who are ready to step up, take responsibility, and become leaders within our Jewish community. Madrichim work alongside teachers and staff to help create engaging, joyful, and meaningful experiences for younger students while building real-world leadership and professional skills.
As a Madrich(a), you are more than an assistant — you are a mentor, a community builder, a helper, a leader, and an essential part of what makes JLC feel warm, welcoming, and alive.
Our Madrichim:
- Gain hands-on leadership and work experience
- Develop communication, teamwork, and professionalism
- Learn how to support children and diverse learners
- Build confidence and responsibility
- Form lasting friendships and connections
- Help create Jewish experiences that are fun, meaningful, and memorable
- Serve as role models for younger students
- Become an integral part of the JLC community
Throughout the year, Madrichim receive mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities to grow both personally and professionally. Whether leading a game, helping a student through a challenge, supporting Hebrew learning, assisting with programs, or simply showing up each week with positivity and energy, Madrichim make a real impact every single day they are here.
The Madrichim Program is a place where teens are trusted with real responsibility, supported by caring mentors, and empowered to grow into thoughtful, capable leaders.
If you’re looking for a meaningful job where you can lead, grow, laugh, inspire others, and make a difference, the Madrichim Program is for you.
