Moving Traditions

Moving Traditions groups promote self-discovery, challenge traditional gender roles, and celebrate a diversity of voices, it has the power to move our teens, our communities, and Judaism forward. Through the field-tested programs, Rosh Hodesh and Shevet Achim, offer groups for boys and girls in 8th-12th grade a unique cohort experience that inspire Jewish teens to openly explore fundamental questions of identity and society throughout their teen years.

Torah Club

For over 10 years, Torah Club provides 6th - 12th graders with the opportunity to build on their trope and davening skills.  With designated Torah Club Shabbatot throughout the year, Torah Club members serve the community by reading Torah (and frequently haftarah) and leading services.  Aliyot are assigned in advance of a Torah Club Shabbat, and members receive 1-on-1 support to help them prepare. Contact Nina Golden at ninagg@sbcglobal.net.  for more info.
