The Annual Giving Campaign campaign is the most important yearly fundraiser supporting Pressman and Temple Beth Am’s operating budget. All funds raised have a direct and meaningful impact on our daily experiences. Our collective annual giving allows us to continue to advance our curriculum, offer our faculty and staff exceptional professional development and competitive salaries, and provide financial assistance to families who could not otherwise afford a synagogue membership or Pressman education.
Annual Giving accounts for approximately 17% of Temple Beth Am’s budget, bridging the gap between the membership dues and operating expenses. The generosity of our Jeremiah Society members, and all donors, funds the essential resources to provide exceptional educational, cultural, and religious programs and services, which serve to strengthen our entire community and enrich our spirit.

We are in the process of expanding and renovating our campus creating an enduring, modular and radically hospitable prayer space and building a new school building that will provide the educational opportunities to prepare our children for jobs that don’t yet exist, using technology that hasn’t yet been invented, to solve problems that we do not even know are problems. Leave your legacy at Temple Beth Am and inspire future generations! Planned Giving provides the opportunity for you to help ensure the long-term financial sustainability of Temple Beth Am and Pressman Academy. We know that the cost of day school education and also shul membership continue to rise, especially as we continue to provide deep meaningful experiences and attract the highest quality staff. Gifts through your estate plan, life insurance policies and other planned gifts bring us closer to a financially sustainable future.
As we begin a new chapter in Temple Beth Am's storied history, we invite you to participate in one of the most unique elements of our re-imagined Sanctuary. Our architects have designed 54 original and distinct illuminated Parsha Panels which will surround our congregation with a glowing and exquisitely artistic expression of Torah, adding religious meaning and effervescent light to our sanctuary. We invite you to dedicate a parsha panel in honor or in memory of a loved one, to celebrate a life-cycle event or commemorate your favorite Shabbat or other special occasion. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFO!
