This year’s Torah Fund pin theme is - “Hesed”. Hesed is one of the three central pillars of Jewish life, as we learn in Pirkei Avot, “The world rests on three things; on Torah, on service of God, and on deeds of kindness” (1:2). The 5780 (2019-2020) pin is silver, gold and black toned, and depicts a heart surrounded by three circles, one larger than the next. The heart symbolizes kindness, enacted in ever-widening circles of generosity, from family to the greater world.
