Jewish Healing and Hospice Center of Los Angeles
Our mission is to provide compassionate care for those individuals affected by serious illness and other life crisis through multi-faceted approach to healing, based on the wisdom of the Jewish tradition. We serve the entire community regardless of affiliation.

JQ creates programs and services that foster a healthy fusion of LGBTQ and Jewish identities. These initiatives offer LGBTQ Jews, their friends, families, and loved ones the opportunity to connect with each other while fostering a strong sense of self. JQ International also encourages and strengthens leadership, activism, and social action amongst its members in order to continue creating not only a vibrant and inclusive LGBTQ Jewish community but also the best possible community at large.

The Jewish Healing Center of Los Angeles has a new bereavement group specifically to address the grief experienced by daughters who have recently lost their mothers. The Ezra Network is an initiative of The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles in partnership with Jewish Family Service, Bet Tzedek Legal Services and Jewish Vocational Service to provide social services within synagogues.
Through The Ezra Network, a social worker, job counselor and legal counselor are available to serve the Temple Beth Am community – providing guidance and assistance to those in our congregation, as well as non-members in the area. What you talk about with these professionals is totally confidential.
