SUMMARY:Sisterhood: Women's League Reads "Henna House" by Nomi Eve
DESCRIPTION:Join this Women's League Reads zoom session with author Nomi Ev
e\, as we discuss "Henna House."  Register at https://www.wlcjmembers.or
g/member_login.php?programid=193\n\nIn the tradition of Anita Diamant’s
The Red Tent\, Henna House is the enthralling story of a woman\, her f
amily\, their community\, and the rituals that bind them.\n\nNomi Eve is t
he author of Henna House and The Family Orchard\, and she has two new
novels on the horizon. Along the way\, she’s been a Book of the Month Cl
ub pick\, a National Jewish Book Council featured author and a proud frequ
ent flyer to hundreds of book clubs – because talking with readers is he
r absolute favorite part of being an author.\n\nWhen she’s not writing\,
Nomi is cheering on emerging storytellers. She spent a decade dreaming up
and building the Drexel MFA in Creative Writing\, a vibrant low residency
program known for its industry focus and craft-driven mentorship. She dir
ects the MFA and is an assistant professor at Drexel University.\n\n
