 n is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania\, and was awarded a Kath
 ryn Gurfein Writing Fellowship at Sarah Lawrence College\, where she subse
 quently taught classes in fiction writing and overcoming writer's block. 
 Her short stories\, articles\, and essays have appeared in dozens of publi
 cations in the US and abroad\, including The American Literary Review\, CR
 AFT Literary\, Jewish Fiction\, The New York Times\, Cosmopolitan\, Hadass
 ah Magazine\, and House Beautiful\; and her work has been translated into
