 flects a sustained engagement with close reading and narrative structure\,
  inviting participants to encounter familiar passages with renewed serious
 ness and clarity.\n\nWhat the Bible Is Not Confused About is a  learning
  series built on a simple but demanding premise: when the Torah appears un
 clear\, inconsistent\, or morally difficult\, the difficulty may not lie i
 n confusion within the text\, but in the assumptions we bring to it.\n\nEa
 ch session approaches the Torah on its own terms\, paying close attention 
 to structure\, sequence\, language\, and narrative cues. Rather than corre
 cting the text or smoothing over tensions\, we ask: What questions does t
 he Torah want us to ask? What kind of world is it building?\n\nBy reading 
 carefully and patiently\, we begin to see that many of the Bible’s most 
 debated passages are not accidents or contradictions\, but deliberate feat
 ures of a deeply coherent vision\n\n\nAugust 22 — What the Bible is Not 
 Confused About: When Dreams Find Their Meaning\n\nJoseph’s dreams seem t
 o be about Joseph\, but they do not fully make sense until he reaches Egyp
 t. Pharaoh’s dreams seem to be about Pharaoh\, but they may actually be 
 the dreams Joseph needs in order to understand his own story. This class f
 ollows Joseph as the almost-firstborn who is not the firstborn\, the dream
 er whose dreams outgrow him\, and the interpreter who discovers that the d
 reams of Genesis only come into focus when Joseph and Pharaoh finally meet
