  a traditional Beit Midrash (study hall) run by R. David Kasher of Hadar
  and hosted by Temple Beth Am.\n\nThe focus of our "watch" this year will 
 be on Midrash\, which literally means just\, "study\," but is also the wo
 rd our Sages used for their interpretations of the Hebrew Bible. Whether 
 you're curious about Beit Midrash study\, eager to explore the art of Mi
 drash\, or just in it for the cholent (a beloved mishmar staple)\, there
