Join us for a Brunch and Learn with Dr. Ariel Levinson, Co-Founder and Director of the Jerusalem Secular Yeshiva.

Born 1979 and raised in Jerusalem, Ariel is a renowned teacher of Hebrew Literature and Jewish culture, a literary critic and essayist – Teaching The Hebrew Bible, Mishnah, Midrash, Talmud, Hasidism and Modern Hebrew Literature and thought. He holds a doctorate from the Hebrew Literature Department at the Hebrew University. He is a cultural entrepreneur and a founding partner of the Jerusalem Secular Yeshiva, where he teaches and leads innovative pluralistic Jewish study programs, cultural events and festivals for young adults, as artistic director and producer. Ariel is also the academic director and founding curator of The Lab, a joint venture of the Gesher Foundation for TV and cinema and the Maimonides Fund leading study programs for leading writers and directors in Israeli TV and Cinema. He also facilitated and lectured in special programs for artists from different fields – dance and choreography, animation and design – engaging in Jewish culture and creating new materials inspired by learning together. Ariel lives in Jerusalem with his wife and three children.
