The Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy
Founded in 1986, the Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am is they dynamic education center of Temple Beth Am and has earned a reputation in Southern California as a warm and nurturing school that encourages each student to achieve the maximum of his or her potential, academically, socially and spiritually.
The Academy houses an Early Childhood Center, a Solomon Schechter Day School, and the synagogue’s Religious School in the Rena E. Ganzberg Education Center. The Academy was named in honor of Rabbi Jacob Pressman whose spirit of innovation and tradition informs our many diverse programs.
Pressman Academy is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School due to our students’ outstanding standardized test scores from our rigorous general studies curriculum.Pressman Academy day school students
