5773 high holidays at temple beth am

As we approach the New Year, the clergy and staff at Temple Beth Am are hard at work to ensure that your worship experience here will be meaningful, and that you will feel comfortable and welcome in our synagogue facility. If you have not already returned your Membership Renewal/ High Holiday seating requests, please do so. Temple Beth Am offers our members a choice of three worship venues for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur: Sanctuary Service, Bait Tefillah and Library Minyan. Everything can be done in one place! Membership renewal, Book of Remembrance, Mahzor Orders, etc. can be completed and paid for online. If you have questions, or need another copy of the forms, contact our Membership Coordinator, Ariana Shane at ashane@tbala.org or call her at 310-652-7354 x223.

Learning
The High Holidays are not just dates on the calendar; they are a whole state of mind. Join us as we journey from the hot days of Elul, in the heat of the summer, to the cool evenings in our Sukkot. Beginning on the first of Elul, the month prior to the High Holidays, the shofar is blown each weekday morning. The sound of the shofar calls us to study, to reflect, and to repent. Our journey begins with study; CLICK HERE for information on Elul Classes offered through the Rabbi Joel Rembaum Institute of Adult Education and Family Learning.
