Religious School CurriculumThe Hebrew Immersion Approach
Pressman Academy Religious School uses a Hebrew immersion approach in the Kindergarten -3rd grade. Each year, the school is building this approach into
another grade level, with the goal of having all Hebrew classes taught
in the Hebrew language. The curriculum outline below reflects this
trend through the school, as each year a new grade level curriculum is
adapted to the Hebrew immersion approach. The Tal Am curricular
materials used in Judaic studies consist of colorful “Big Books,” small
story books, CDs and individual student workbook. Teacher activity
boxes supplement these materials by allowing children to role play the
stories they are learning.
